Roman Collins on American Idol
Roman auditioned in Nashville with the song “Living for the City” by Stevie Wonder. He went to the next round when all three judges voted “yes”. In the Hollywood Round in a montage at Idol Arena, Roman sang “Gravity” by John Mayer. Judges put him in the same group as Kayko, Mia Matthews, and Anna Grace. In Top 24 (Hawaii Round), Jelly Roll mentored Roman.
Now, Roamn has made it to the Top 14 after singing “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” by James Brown. Before this, he was in a danger zone following “Never Would Have Made It” by Marvin Sapp.
